I am a 40 "something" year old mother of 3 medium-sized children. My doctor once said I had "advanced maternal age tri-dependency syndrome" - in other words I am an "old lady with 3 kids". Unlike some people, I am mostly OK with this - and I did stop wearing a bikini a long time ago - so no need to worry about that!

I have a degree pharmacy and have worked in the pharmaceutical field and medical industry in drugstores, hospitals, research institutions, educational institutions, emergency medicine and strategic health business development for well over 20 years. I currently work from home - sitting, most likely in my pajamas in the winter and cutoffs and a tank top in the summer - I quit driving to an office a long time ago. I also quit hopping planes, staying in hotels and wearing a suit.

I still work in the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare business - and write about the issues too. I have strong, educated opinions about a wide variety of topics including both traditional medical treatments, alternative therapies, the healthcare field in general with a smattering of child development and politics thrown in. Mostly real-world stuff. 

You may not agree with everything I say - but I have the education and experience to back it up.
